Project 1

Medical Aid Convoy – Idlib, Northern Syria

In 2024, Steps of Light organized a large medical aid convoy to the Idlib region in northern Syria, an area devastated by conflict with limited medical infrastructure.

The convoy delivered:

  • Emergency medical supplies
  • Life-saving medications
  • Trauma care equipment
  • Pediatric medical supplies
The supplies were distributed to local clinics and hospitals treating civilians impacted by the ongoing violence.

Project 2

Mobile Medical Clinics – Turkana Region, Kenya

This project operates mobile medical clinics in the remote Turkana region of northern Kenya, where many communities lack access to basic healthcare services.

The mobile clinics provide:

  • Basic medical examinations
  • Pediatric care
  • Vaccinations
  • Life-saving medications
The clinics reach remote villages, offering healthcare to hundreds of children and families each month.

Project 3

Emergency Medical Kits – Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh

In the refugee camps of Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, the organization is distributing emergency medical kits to displaced families.

The kits include:

  • First aid supplies
  • Bandages and dressings
  • Basic medications
  • Hygiene products
These kits help families in the camps who have no access to medical facilities.

Project 4

Food and Basic Needs Distribution – Taiz, Yemen

In Yemen, the organization provides humanitarian aid to families in need in the city of Taiz, one of the areas severely affected by the civil war.
  • The project includes:
  • Monthly food packages for families
  • Containers for clean water
  • Hygiene kits (soap, cleaning supplies, and basic products)
  • Blankets and basic household items
The goal of the project is to help families meet their basic needs and reduce hunger and distress in conflict-affected areas.

Project 5

Establishing a Humanitarian Aid Distribution Center

During the war in Ukraine, many local communities suffer from severe shortages of food, water, and basic supplies. Our organization has established dedicated centers for distributing humanitarian aid, aiming to reach as many vulnerable families as possible quickly and efficiently.
  • Center Objectives:
  • Provide hot meals and daily food packages to families in need
  • Supply clean and safe drinking water in areas of scarcity
  • Reduce hunger and distress among displaced and affected communities
  • Provide hygiene products and essential living supplies
  • Field Activities:
  • Food distribution at aid centers with organized queues of people
  • Use of large pots and prepared food kits to reach as many families as possible each day
  • Monitoring the changing needs of the community to adapt aid accordingly
